Hi guys:

I just finished installing the desktop software for Rogers 7130g on my desktop, everything was successful. The tray icon for the desktop manager app showed up initially but then I lost it.

I even rebooted and logged back in but couldn't see the desktop manager icon. Checked Task Manager and saw that it was running "RIMDesktopManager.exe", so I killed it and double-clicked it from within c:\program files\common files\research in motion\rimdesktopmanager\ but still, no icon.

I even hooked up the 7130g to the computer, the yellow balloon popped up and said found new hardware blackberry, etc. but somehow, nothing after that.

Someone experience this? I'm using a an older 7130g that someone gave me after they upgraded so trying to get this to work.

Running Windows XP.
