Is there a way to change the number of rings before the voicemail picks up? I have Nextel Service

call nextel and ask them to increase the ring time they will take care of it for you.

Not that I'm aware of. The profile settings limit you to the number of vibrations, and the notification occurs when the tower picks up your device, I'd think if your device is late to pick this up it would impact the number of rings to your BB. (Hence, why some carriers are better than other due to better coverage areas, towers, etc)

i work for them and theres a way to add rings i believe its 2 extra and it is a free feature

wait wait wait.... so you can call your carrier and have them increase the amount of rings that your device rings on the party calling you side? thats awesome!

I know you can on nextel I dont know about vzw.
