Since I upgraded my 7130e to v4.2.1.195 (app v4.2.1.110), incoming PIN messages are silent if not set to "Make PIN messages level 1". Email and SMS work fine.

Tech at RIM support assumes this is normal because he can reproduce the "feature" on an even newer build. He suggests we use Blackberry Messenger.

Is this a bug, a feature, or did I have an upgrade anomaly?
