Welcome to the forums.

Did you download it OTA (over the air)? Is the icon not showing on your device.

Hold the alt key and press the trackwheel then select show all just to make sure it isn't hidden.

If that doesn't work, try popping the battery out (while the device is on) for 30 seconds and see if it shows up.

Well I downloaded it through a link in my bookmarks that I found and it installed and told me to reboot so I did and it never showed up.. but apparently it is telling me that it is one of my applications from the advanced options menu-applications(application options). And I tried to see if it was hidden but it is not. I took out the battery too, still nothing... anymore ideas?

THANKS!

I am not sure why it is not showing on your homescreen if it shows as an application. I would try to delete it from the applications list and then reinstall it to see if that helps.

Okay, I need some more help... Still can't find AIM, it is there somewhere but I have no idea where. Also, I downloaded a theme and added it, but I cannot find that either. Anybody know what I am doing wrong, or where I need to look?
THANKS!

any luck with the lost AIM icon? I am experiencing the same problem on a curve 8330. I am almost certain the icon existed when i purchased the phone, but can no longer find it. I've checked hidden applications and deleted and re-downloaded the application too.

It may be in a sub-folder like Applications. You might have to hunt through to find it, maybe in IM. That's where it was hidden on my 7105t, and I couldn't move it onto the main screen.
