It is not possible to "unlock"CDMA devices like the 7130e. If you know the MSL (master subsidy lock) of the device, you may be able to convince MetroPCS to activate the device, but I highly doubt. Cricket is the only CDMA carrier I know of that will activate phones they did not sell. Also, you will not get BlackBerry service on the device as MetroPCS does not offer BlackBerry service.

Welcome to the forums.

Very few CDMA carriers allow other devices on their network. Are you sure Metro PCS does?

Ok cool. However, as I mentioned above, you don't "unlock" CDMA devices. You need to know the MSL.

You may be able to obtain that by dialing ##000000 and pressing the call key.

Thanks for mentioning that. It's been two years or so since I had a CDMA device and couldn't remember how to get to the programming screen.

Call up Metro PCS and tell them your situation. Let them know you have the MSL ID and they may be able to activate it on their network.

Use QXDM

send these commands:
SPC "000000"
MODE OFFLINE-D
pr_list_wr 0 "c:\1014.prl"
make sure the prl is named that way and in your root drive
then send command: mode reset

Is there an echo in here?
