Default questions regarding the 7100i - 03-04-2009, 08:05 PM

please be gentle with me as I am coming to Blackberry from a Palm Centro.
Long story short my centro is acting up and I can replace it for free with a Sprint 7100i.
Any drawbacks software wise to getting an older model phone like this one?
I want to be able to run the Slacker Radio App. I know with Palm, many apps are device specific. I have no idea how this works on Blackberry phones.
Thanks.

There is absolutely no reason to get a 7100i. The device is old and the iDEN network is sub-par. If you must stay with Sprint, do yourself a favor and get a Curve 8330. The 8330 will run Slacker just fine.

Totally agree with dc/dc. You don't want a 7100i.
