Default Flashing a verizon BB 7130E to metro pcs - 03-28-2009, 06:40 PM

ummm so i have the software however upon trying to install the QPST file it comes back saying "CLASS NOT REGISTERED" and i am unable to install it... i have already tried 3 versions of QPST to no avail.... i currently run windows vista SP1 on a toshiba satellite a135 model laptop with everything currently updated and running fine. i also have microsoft .net framework 3.5 installed and 1.1 installed!!! i am unable to install QPST!!

CAN SOMEONE HELP ME INSTALL QPST SO I CAN FLASH MY BB TO THE METRO PCS NETWORK???

IM A NEWBIE HERE SO PLEASE HELP ME AS MUCH AS U CAN

You don't need QPST.

You simply need to know the MSL of the device.

um what do i do? i wanna change the PRL code in the phone to the metro pcs PRL which i have!! someone please help me

You can use QXDM to do so.

send these commands:
SPC "000000"
MODE OFFLINE-D
pr_list_wr 0 "c:\prlname.prl"
make sure the prl is in your root drive
then send command: mode reset
