Default First time owner of Blackberry & 7100T - Device errror 322 - 05-16-2009, 04:10 PM

Hello there

First of all apologies for repeating the question if it has been asked already but I have tried searching the forums and most of the answers go over my head as I am a first time user of both Blackberry and 7100T model in particular.

I have brought this back from an aunt who received this as a present many moons ago and has never got it to work.

The problem with it is that it simply doesn't get past the error screen stating error 322.

From what I gather, I need to reinstall the OS but where can I get this and what is an application loader? Since I have attached the device to my XP machine for the first time I don't have drivers either. My service provider refuses to support the device and so software is not easy to find.

Any light shed on the matter would be a great help and most appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Adi

You can find the latest OS here: http://www.blackberryforums.com/rim-...ry-device.html

You also need to download and install Desktop Manager (probably version 4.2 is best) which will load the required drivers and allow you to install the OS. You can find that here: https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads...93E4F3BB068C22

Default Any ideas? - 05-17-2009, 04:53 AM

Hi there

I downloaded the required files, ran application loader and it went through the process of erasing everything before reinstalling and I am left with:

Unable to reconnect to the device during a multi-stage load operation.

At the end of the process. Any suggestions would be most welcome...

That indicates that the BB is not getting enough power through the USB connection.

Make sure you are connected straight to the PC, and not through a USB hub. Try another USB connection on your PC.
