Default New with Blackberry ( HELP ) - 06-06-2009, 01:18 PM

Can you help me ? i just bought a Bleckberry 7100i ( using Boost ), and all the time when i ADD a New contact and save, shows the #1 before the telephone number....and i'm going crazy, because i can not make any call using my contact list with this #1

You need to remove this from the smart dialing option. You can locate this by going to the dialing screen, make sure the cursor is in the field that you type the numbers in then activate the menu and choose Options, the select smart dialing. I guess you can change it to unknown.

EX: +1 222-3335566... i need take out this +...

the +1 is the country code. you ned some kind of code to use it. are you in the us?

yes, i'm in Boston - MA, sometimes we can call puting 1617-6660000 but not with +1..

It should still work.

I have almost every number in my phone book saved with +1 in front of it.

Thank you everyone..was so helpfull!!! I just fixed, our friend " KIRRINJONES " from Jamaica just did a great job, was perfect..i had to find the Smart Dialing and put Unknown..problem fixed...
Thank you one more time and this website was just PERFECT..
