Exclamation BB 7100g : SMS Messages Deleting On Their Own - 06-15-2009, 12:01 PM

Hi All ,

I recently re-installed OS 4.1.351 Airtel India on my Secondary BlackBerry 7100g . I had saved all my earlier msgs and then restored them using the Desktop Manager , but the problem occurring is that they stay only for arnd 2 hrs or so and then get deleted on their own , just 2 SMS's remain in the inbox. The same problem is occurring in the "Simulator" as well.

I followed this guide too : LOSING CALL LOGS , SMS , EMAILS

Just not being able to figure out what exactly the problem is. Any help regarding this would be highly appreciated.

Regards,

BBThumbHealer

What is your file free in Options > Status? The 7100 has very limited memory.

The free memory available is approximately 13 MB which I think is more than enough.

Do you have any unused 3rd part aps running? If so, closing them down might help.

1st Step in Troubleshooting: Do you have a BlackBerry Data Plan?
2nd Step in Troubleshooting: Pull the Battery.
