Wirelessly posted (Lets Go Canes!)

Go to 7100 section and look at sticky for your device.

Moved to 7100 section

If it is a work device and they are paying the bills, it might not be a good idea to try to fix it. If you are on the corporate BES, there may be an IT Policy in place which restricts what you can and cannot do.

The 7105 is a rather old (as cell phones go) old device and there isn't much out there. Use the SEARCH function and/or Google.

Themes are device specific as is the OS. You should check with your company IT staff to see what they allow you to do with their device.

Check the yellow sticky at the top of the 7100 section for the latest OS. Not sure if there is a newer OS for your device or not. I know 4.2 is out for some 7100s. You won't find anything beyond that however.

That's such an old device there are no more themes being developed for it. The internal memory was so small that you couldn't add anything to it anyway. Your carrier will have a link to the most recent OS for it, but the 7105t (originally for T-Mobile) never got the 4.2 OS. The last version for the 7105t was 4.1.0.377, available only from T-Mobile's web site.

It's still a great device. One of my all-time favorites in fact. I still have one in excellent shape I keep around as a backup/pre-paid device. But it's strength lies in it's simplicity. It does phone calls, email, text, BB Messenger, and calendar. That's about it. Forget multimedia, forget custom ringtones or pictures. This is a very basic device with no room for expansion.

Just keep an eye on your free memory. If it gets too low your BlackBerry can start randomly deleting SMS messages, email, and calendar appointments.

As rambo47 said you really need to be careful of the free memory. I have had SMS messages and email deleted because of this

I really love my 7105t. One of my favorite mobiles ever. Unfortunately, because of it's age, the 7105t's capabilities are limited. For simple email, texting, and calendar/contacts management it's superb. Great phone call quality too. You just can't run many modern/new apps. No YouTube on the browser, simple non-html email only, and no expandable storage memory severely limit it's usefulness in today's environment.
