Default I lost my BB last night! Need help RE: emails. - 10-14-2009, 02:31 PM

Nightmare of nightmares, I left my blackberry at a networking function last night with a lot of coworkers and associates. I don't know if someone has found it or what happened to it at this point, but I would like to do as much damage control as possible at this point.

I have it synced to my Yahoo personal mail and there are a lot of things I just really don't want going to whomever has it now. I'd read on some forums that simply changing my yahoo password won't work and my email will still keep going to the blackberry. Is this true?

If so, how do I get it to stop?? I don't want them getting any more of my messages/information than they already have.

Thanks for your help in advance. I've been really panicking over here.

Welcome to the forums.

Changing your password should work as your BIS account wouldn't have access to your Yahoo account with the incorrect password.

Call your carrier and report the device stolen. Also delete the email accounts from the BIS site.

You're very welcome.
