Has anyone experience their 7100i being on vibrate and just out of the blue vibrating, then you pull it out to look at it and nothing? This has happened to me several times and I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

You’re not the only one that it happens to. It’s very strange, I take it out of the holster to say WTF?

I believe this is the first step in realizing you have a CrackBerry problem. I think all BB users fall victim to the phantom LOL!

Happens to me, too. I think it's just the devices way of saying 'WAKE UP!'

I get that once in a while too, usually shortly before or after a message arrives (even when I've already checked the message).

I have had it several times. It really through I was on a cruise and had my BB with me and I had no reception where we were at and the thing vibrated. Almost dropped my drink when it happened...

I've had this before too but I don't have a 7100t. It used to happen on my 7250. For all of the 10 days I owned it. When I pressed on it bumped it accidentaly put any pressure on it it would vibrate.

I got My 7250 for $49 from Bell Mobility! But itdidnt teather, so I traded it in for a 7130e. Now Im happy!

Not only does it happen... if I don't have it on my belt for some reason, I still feel something vibrate, reach for it and I don't even have the BB there. So I wouldn't assume it's the device that's vibrating. More along the lines of someone who loses a limb but still feels as if it's there type of issue.

happens to me all the time, I feel the BB vibrate, I pull it out of the holster, nothing. BUT, while I am holding it in my hand, I feel it vibrate on my hip. Probably have some sort of tumor from 20 years of pagers/cell phones on my hip. :(

I know this is an old thread, but I find this so funny. I’ve been a blackberry user for about 6 years, right back to the old 950’s. I also feel the phantom buzz even when I don’t have a blackberry attached to my hip. This seems to be a common thing with long-time blackberry users.

So don’t worry, it’s not your blackberry acting up, its just you going crazy. ;)
