if im not mistaken, the bluetooth capabilities suck for the BB....when i had my 7100 it would not do much with my ck3100 piece other than make and receive calls...no call log, no address book, and no voice dialing...my nokia phones however do all of the above perfectly!

Default Contact downloads with CK3100 - 12-27-2005, 12:22 PM

You have to save each contact as a vcf file and then use a bluetooth laptop to download each of them individualy. It is a giant pain but it does work. Also, if you upgrade the firmware on the Parrot, you have to re-download all your contacts.

Sorry - but could you tell me how to save each contact as a vcf file? Thanks. John

Default Saving as a VCF - 01-03-2006, 04:20 PM

This assumes that you have synced your 7100 with outlook. From within outlook, you highlight the contact that you want to save and use the Save As function and change it to .vcf in the file type dialog box. Then use the bluetooth business card exchange function of your bluetooth adapter on the laptop.

Default I can synchronize the addressbook from the 7100v and CK3100 - 05-20-2006, 03:13 PM

My CK3100 can receive and synchronize, the agenda when connected to the 7100v via the proper handsfree bluetooth connection so is not needed a laptop, PDA or other external deviced to make that. This is not the problem.

The problem for me: The CK3100 losts the voices tags recorded at the handsfree EXCEPT the device tags as "Telephone" and so on.

My current conditions:

Mobile: BB7100v vers. 4.1.0.255
Handsfree: CK3100 4.14d
Car: Nissan Almera 2000 (new version)

Notes:
1. I CAN SEE the Goodbye message when turned off the car.
2. If I pair the devices with the "Encryption" option activated in the device properties, there's no message on the HF display except: "Mobile device name", Radio reception level and Coverage OK so no mobile operator name and no battery indication.
3. When turned off the encryption option all is Ok and all the information appears very soon and started the Address book synchro very fast until completed.

But the HF can't maintain the recorded Addressbook voice tags.

Tha't all by this side.

Greetings from Sevilla, Spain.

José I.

on the Parrot kits, if a BB contact changes in any way, the related voice tags are lost...this according to Parrot...I have a 7130 and the 3200LS...same issue. Changing anything at all in the contact will do this...
