Wink please help a technology challenged girl - 12-30-2005, 09:27 AM

Does anyone know if it's possible to change the indicators for voicemail, texts, etc. on the 7130e - designating a ringtone for a new voicemail?

Profiles, highlight the one that is (Active), click and select "Edit" from the dropdown list. You can change settings from there.

I can't speak for the 7130e but the 7105t doesn't have a voicemail option under the profiles. I just get a popup for voicemail and that's upsetting me.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry7100i/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/103)

Find the alert that's used for your Voicemail notification, and then find the type of notification that tone is used for.... On the Nextel bb's, the SMS alert type is what is used for Voicemail notification.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry7100/4.0.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1)

It appears the only option on a 7100g is how many times it will beep, flash or vibrate depending on the selected profile.
