Default Spam - 08-22-2006, 11:23 AM

I am a 7105 user and am getting lots of spam. Does anyone have suggestions on what to do about this problem? I am not a tech person so any help will be much appreciated.

put filters on your receiving account so that they can be deleted before BB picks them up

Yup. That's the way to do it.

I'm still getting a lot of spam thru an account that I never used before I got my BB.

Still spam everyday, still adding addresses to the filter...

Filters will help in most situations, but we use BES and Exchange and, unless I'm missing something, I'm not able to keep SPAM from hitting my BB. Our SPAM filtering is done at the desktop level and my BB usually receives the messages before my desktop gets a chance to filter them out... Especially if I'm travelling and my mail client is not online.

SPAM filtering prior to mailbox delivery is required in this type of environment.
