Question Send Email Without Using Clickwheel - 08-24-2006, 08:00 AM

My boss's blackberry clickwheel just broke. I allows him to scroll but the 'push-in' function doesn't work. The kicker is that he is on vacation and no where close to a Verizon store to swap the device.

He can read, reply and forward all of his emails using just the keyboard and the half functioning clickwheel. The problem is that we can't seem to find a way to send an email without activating the menu that comes up when you press in the clickwheel.

I have looked around this forum and the net and could not find a single answer to the numerous times the question has been poised.

Does anyone know if you can do this and how or if there is another way (keyboard shortcut) to bring up the menu that you get when you press in the clickwheel button?

thank you for your help,
Jesse

There isn't any shortcut for the Send function. Probably to eliminate accidently sending something you aren't ready to send.....

If he hadn't cracked it up, his BlackBerry will still be working.

I know on my BB hitting the first letter of a word will cycle me through all the possiblities. Hitting "s" may work for you too
