Question 7130e hanging up when removed from holster - 09-18-2006, 11:16 AM

My 7130e is set to answer when removed from holster. However it hangs up every time it is removed from the RIN leather holster with the magnetic flap. I presume what happens is that as I pull the device out it contacts the magnet in the flap and the device "thinks" it has been inserted into the holster and hangs up.

Does anyone else have this problem?

Is there a way around it other than turning the autoanswer feature off?

have you tried turning off the auto answer feature and checking to see what happens? is your device locked when it's in your holster?

I think you might be right about the magnet in the cover.

Why do you need to have the auto answer turned on; I like seeing who calling before i answer it and mabe not want to talk to them if i am the middle something.
