Default Email Drag - 07-20-2007, 04:23 PM

This may be more of a Outlook problem but either way it is frustrating and I need help. The e-mails I receive on my laptop show they were sent 20 to 30 minutes prior to me receiving them. Concurrently, they do not hit my bberry until another 20 to 30 minutes after that. It is close to an hour before I am getting messages on my bberry from the date on the sender's email.
Any thoughts? I have my Outlook set to "send/receive every 2 minutes by the way.

Thanks

There is nothing you can do from your BlackBerry with this issue. If you are using a BIS account then your mailbox is probably polled every 15-20 minutes (unless you have Yahoo! or Gmail in which case it is sent almost immediately). So the fact that you have this long delay before the first message even hits your mailbox, it is causing it to take even longer for it to hit the BlackBerry.

Disappointing to hear but thanks for the insight. I will quit wasting time trying to figure it out and get back to work.
Thanks
