Remove your call list from the message list at
Phone Dialer application > Options > Call Logging = NONE.

The Message icon will get ALL messages. You cannot remove them from going there.

2 very common questions here.

1. Go to the Phone app, click the wheel and go to options. Select Call logging....choose "none."

2. "Messages" is a dumping ground for all messages, email, sms, mms, etc. The specific email folders will show just your emails. There is no way around that-just the way it is.

Edit: Blast you JS!! I gotta type faster ....

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8700/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

If you go to the Call Log then go to Options > Call Logging. Make sure the option is set to None.

For question 2, the Messages folder is a repository for ALL messages: SMS, email, MMS. Now some themes can separate the SMS and MMS from the email messages. But all e-mails will still show in the Messages folder. If you want you can hide the Messages folder and then just have you e-mail folder icon.
