every time i turn on my blackberryb7100i the so called fatal jvm error 102 pops up and asks me to reset i do but it just goes back to the same thing again and again i got jl- cmndr and cant find it on my computer what should i do please send me an email.

you want to wipe the device with the JL_cmder and then reload the OS on the device.

JVM 102 on a 7100i is a fatal error, you can wipe, hard reset or reinstall all the new software you want, its dead. you might keep it going a week or two longer but your phone is dead

I was trying to activate my 7100i crackberry and it flashed JVM 102. the nextel dude said to take it to a repair center and they will give me a new one... is this true?

I had to do that to my 7100t a week ago. I was really scared when it gave me that error since I just activated it. I did not use JL Cmder. For some reason that didn't work. I just plugged it in when the light was red and downloaded and reinstalled the OS, which luckily happened to be at the T-Mobile website.
