When you receive an sms you should be able to hit the trackwheel and select reply. From the message list you should be able to hit the trackwheel and select "compose sms text" to send a new sms. If your BB doesn't have these options it's possible that your BB has IT Policy on it restricting use of sms. You can check to see if you have an IT policy by going to Options >Security Options >General Settings. Scroll down and look for any reference to IT policy. click the link below to learn how to remove IT policy.
