Default My 7250 turns on by itself. Anyone know why? - 04-08-2008, 12:18 PM

The unit turns on and off normally when I do it manually. The auto turn on function is disabled and there are no alarms set, but everyday it turns on by itself. I only use it occasionally but it is a pain to waste my batteries when it is not needed Is there something I am missing? Any help appreciated! Thanks!

When it shuts down does it tell you it's going to turn back on?

Thanks

Wirelessly posted (Verizon 8830)

So it seems that you are not placing the device in the "standby" mode?

No, I don't think so. I scroll down to the turn off function on the menu page then select.
