Default 7290 MiniOpera - firewall? - 04-24-2008, 11:03 AM

When trying to install OperaMini 4.0 on my 7290, I get this error message repeatedly:

"The application opererre$2dhifi has attempted to open a connection to a location inside the firewall and outside the firewall which is not allowed by your IT policy."

I tried adjusting the firewall setting, but it wouldn't let me do anything.

I feel like this is a silly quick fix.

Advice?

Are you on a BES? If so, you can't turn off the firewall. If you're not on a BES and this is your own personal BB then you can remove the IT Policy:
