I have just bought o2 blackberry 7230 from ebay.

The person I bought it off isn't replying and ebay isn't helping so...


... I am asking u guys for my help. The phone had been locked and it had 10 attempts. I tried things like 0000 1234 etc. and now I only have 1 attempt left.

Please can you tell me what to do and it doesn't really matter if the memory gets cleared or anything because I haven't used it yet.

There is nothing you can do.
Getting the password wrong 10 times will wipe the device of all personal data & will restore it to factory settings.
Really the eBay seller should have disabled the password or at least have told you what it was.

Enter in the incorrect password one last time and then the phone will wipe itself and then you will be able to use it.

No contract? No e-mail.

You cannot set the pin. It is hardcoded to the BB.
