Hey, I have a BB 7290 and it is doing some weird stuff. It comes on, boots up and acts like it is going to operate properly. Then with a fully charged battery, a message "Battery Drained, Shutting down handheld" message comes on the screen and stays there. If i do a battery pull, the message goes away but then the battery icon comes up, red, with a question mark. What is goin here? I have downloaded the latest software for the phone and I have JL Cmder. Should I reload the OS? Help...well, assist because I am going to sell this one becase I have a Curve already but would like this phone to work correctly before I get someone else hooked to the "Crack"berry..

Your battery is shot.
Buy a new battery and you should be fine.

My 7290 is doing the same thing. I tried other batteries, didn't help.
