Default setting up gprs - 05-08-2008, 07:42 AM

Hello,
I want to enter my carrier gprs settings and I go to Options > Advanced Options > TCP but there I can enter only APN settings. I need to enter more settings like Gateway IP and so on...
Any advice?

APN settings are all you should need.

Wirelessly posted

The APN settings are for the carriers gprs gateways.
Some carriers have several gateway APN settings for example my carrier has APN settings for wap and APN settings for mobileweb.

Usually you do not need to enter the gateway IP etc. You can find out which APN settings are for which gateway IP though if you do a google search for 'carrier APN settings'.

You can't enter it.
The BlackBerry will only accept APN settings. Nothing more.
