I got this message from my schools email provider

You have been identified connecting to our primary mail system with your PID with a POP or IMAP email client. The VT Mail servers are migrating to CNS's load balancing service. These changes are necessary to complete capacity improvements. As a result, handheld phone users need make sure to use pop.vt.edu (or imap.vt.edu) as their incoming mail server, not an IP address. If you continue to use an IP address to
connect, you will be unable to retrieve mail as of May 12, 2008.

How do i make sure my blackberry is set up this way? or how do i go about setting it up like this. sure enough i didnt receive any of my emails today.

Delete your email address from your BIS account.

Add it back. Should work.
