First off, I'm scared to do turn my blackberry RIGHT off, because it takes between 30 minutes-an hour to boot up. Secondly, any of the core applications (Browser, Messages, Phone, Tasks, Memopad, Address Book) can sometimes take up to a minute to load. I will once in a while run Gmail in the background, but it's been turned off for a little while now. I got 274 contacts and 56 notes in it... And 4 tasks... And 391 calendar items (Sorry had to check how many). Would that be a reason why? Messages date back a couple months, but even when I clear them, AND the call log, AND any other folder I can access in the Messages window, everything is still slow. Any ideas? It's a 7250 on the 1x Network with Telus, unlimited data and SMS plan.

How much free memory is on your BB? You can find that in Options / Status.
