Hi all i now this is in the wrong section but i couldnt find find the 77 section sorry, I've just bought a bb 7730 and ive set up my apn to my providers config (o2) but when i try to go on line i get this message "Your device does not currently have any browser configuration service book entries" pls can some 1 help me.

I no i need different setting for mine as its on pay and go but ive been told its easy anuff to do.

Hi

You will not be able to use the built in browser on a pay and go sim.

The only thing that may work for you is to download the Opera Mini Browser and enter the APN settings. This is not quaranteed to work though.

Hey amcloud. Sorry but you can't use a blackberry data plan at all on pay as you go. I phoned o2's customer service this morning (as I said in the above mentioned thread). Your best option is to go on contract... go on the simplicity package, which is sim only (ie: no new phone) & then you pay the extra amount for a blackberry data plan.

All in all, that'll add up to £25 a month. I would've done that myself, but for that cost I decided to just get a new phone. You can get the blackberry curve on a 24 month contract for that cost.
