OK i got the phone unlocked by doing a 10 wrong passwords..... and im able to get into the phone now but it says invalid sim card..... please tell me i didnt buy a phone that wont work with me sim card im in bad need of a phone. its a At&t wireless and i have a older cingular simcard...... but it should work right? or do i need to go get a newer simcard from At&t???????

ok so i guess its locked to at&t wireless..... i have a cingular simcard which is now At&t... shouldnt this work as being unlocked??? or do i need to buy a unlock code or would it be easyer to get a new sim car from at&t??

If it's an old cingular card it may not work. I've seen several posts about the older ones not working in a BB. I know when I got my BB they updated me to a new sim card automatically. You may need to go in to AT&T and get a new card.

so they will give me a new sim card even though i bought this on ebay but i have a at&t account?

They may not charge you for a SIM if you talk nicely to them. The want you as a happy customer with a working phone.

The blackberry is from the old att not the new att mobility it will need to be unlocked. New sim will do no good until it is unlocked

ok my next question is im playing around with it now and messing with the setting and the ringer is so quiet i cant hardly hear it. im afraid to unlock it if the speaker is bad in it is there anyway to find this out before i unlock it? itve changed ringtones and even put it on loud setting still really quiet...

where is it 15.00 on the site ive looked and all i see is durect unlock for 22.00....... does this mean they will email me the cod or how does this work i cant wait around for them to mail one to me
