Default removing phone option from a BB - 09-02-2008, 02:47 PM

I'v got a couple of 7250's that are not activated anymore, in an attempt to keep the kids from grabbing my 8703 I gave them these to play with but have found out that 911 still dials even if the "radio" is turned off. Oh how smart kids can be these days!

Is there are way to remove the dialing capabilities from the phone completely?

I know you can remove the phone software thru the desktop manager but I don't know if 911 will still work or not after the software's been removed. We remove the phone software on company issued devices.
