Hello. To tell what version of the BB you are running go to Options / About..

If you are running v4.0 you can go to Options / Security / Wipe Handheld.

If you are not running v4.0, go to Options / Security and set a password. Enter it WRONG 10 times and it will wipe out the BB.

Check to see if the Address Book and calendar are wiped out.

If you have wiped out all customer data then it is back to factory reset.

Lucky you. I have less than 1M free on my 7280.

I can't wait for the 8700 series, especially if the specs are genuine (probably). Can't wait to hear the official announcement. There's only 2 megabytes RAM and only 16 megabytes flash on my unit, so 16 megabytes RAM and 64 megabytes flash is a big upgrade.

(Now, if they would only add a user-installable secure flash memory upgrade module slot, I'd install a 512MB RS-MMC or MicroSD which are semi permanent flash cards which are used like SIM cards except with proper encryption it would be non-transferrable between BlackBerries or card readers, making this memory card slot safe and secure, and behave rather as a 'memory upgrade' instead)

Thanks,
Mark Rejhon
