I bought a rim 7280 when i put the 3g sim card in it, it say it is a invalid sim card on the display. The 7280 is a at&t phone and so is my phone now. Someone please help.

This is not correct. Please check your facts before posting.

The real problem is that the device is from the original AT&T Wireless, and the SIM card you have is from the new at&t Mobility, previously known as Cingular Wireless. AT&T Wireless phones cannot accept Cingular or at&t SIM cards. As such, you will need to get the device unlocked to use a SIM card from the current at&t.

To SIM unlock the device, you may:

- ask AT&T to unlock it for you. Note that AT&T may not have access to the original AT&T unlock codes
- buy an unlock code from a third party. The unlock code is a unique number and only works for your device. I can provide the unlock code for $15. Contact me with the IMEI of your device (billyng@teczilla.com) if you are interested.

Thank you for the info but I sent the phone back the the seller. My wifes best friend has a BB Pearl 8100 Team Mobile. If you can unlock that phone so I can use it with my at&t 3g sim card I will diffinatly pay the 15.00. When and if i start using the phone, I know it has to have a data plan. But do you use airtime just making and taking calls,or recieving and sending messages. I phone is from work it has s data plan but not allowed to use it.+6

Yes, it will work.

Also, the carrier is T-Mobile, not "Team Mobile"

Well, you didn't quote that post when you posted, so I assumed you were talking about his original post with the 7280.
