what does it mean because im not using the net but the phone and it coms up where the telstra mobile comes up

well the FAQ didnt work anyways because i dont have Moblie Network and the option top hide it other wise i would not have bothed getting slack about asking Duh

Options >> Mobile Network and turn Data Services to OFF.
There is no MOBLIE network and ideas?

How about "Mobile Network" instead? Or Data?
Then find the the closest thing to that setting.

Unfortunately, this option does not exist in the 7230 as the OS is too old.

However, after searching, I located this excellent thread on how to remove that message:
