You mean I connect RIM 7290 to computer. What software should I use in order that I can sync it to outlook and print it?

Welcome to the forums.

You will need to use desktop manager. If you're using Outlook 2000, you will need to use DM 4.2, otherwise you can use a newer version.

Yes I dont think a higher DM works with 4.2
