Default Messages Options -> General Options - 05-13-2009, 02:03 PM

Under the General Options section of Messages Options, there is an item that is called Auto More. Can someone explain to me what that is? I have a BB 7290.

Also, when I try to read a SMS, sometimes it takes very long to open. Is there something I can do to speed that up? Thank you in advance.

When receiving a long email message, the blackberry will truncate the message. When you scroll down, you will see More Available. Auto More will grab the rest of the message as you scroll down.

Do you have a lot of SMS messages? If so, try deleting them and see if ti speeds things up.

Thank you for your response. To speed up the SMS load time, is there a way to disable click-able links in the SMS? I did delete all of them and it helped, but the ones that have links in them still take a long time to load.

I am not aware of a way of doing that.

Go into Options > SMS Text, what do you have Number of Previous Items set to?

I have it set to 0. This is the first thing I changed to see if it would improve it, but it hasn't.
