Default 7290 unlocked + AT&T question - 08-15-2009, 07:54 PM

Hello,
I just purchased a black unlocked 7290 on ebay for 25$ to for the time being replace my unstable treo 650. I intend to use it primarily for calls and text messaging. My provider is at&t, and I'm not using a data plan that supports free internet use, as i dont intend to use it. Should I just be able to swap the sim cards?

thanks

They came out on Cingular, is that the branding? Not sure how ATT and Cingular are interacting now, but after the merger, an ATT SIM would work on a Cingular device.

All I can say is try it and see.
