Default No browser icon - 08-21-2009, 04:53 PM

Basic facts are these...I have a 7290, carrier is AT&T, have the blackberry data plan. After multiple restarts, wipes, and downloading OS 4.2 & the related service packs, I STILL don't have a browser icon. Help! Everything else works fine (e-mail, phone), and I'd love to get the browser up and running!

Have you logged into the AT&T BIS page and resent your service books? After doing that, a battery pull should set things right.

Other possibilities are an old IT Policy in place preventing browser use, or just plain defective hardware.
