Mark, I have been told that the Blackberry 7250 would work as a USB connected to a laptop as a broadband EVDO modem. I have done the OS updates and Blackberry activation. I do have the 1XEV displayed with full signal strenght. I have called Verizon with mixed results, some tech support people say all is well while others say that they do not support the 7250 as a tethered modem. The error I get is "The Handle is invalid" Any Ideas? I tried entering vzw as a SIP password and that did not work either. Can you hepl? Thanks n3tno (wireless.guy@comcast.net)

If you use the VZAccess software and pay the extra 10 bucks/month, tethering works just fine. I never could get it to work otherwise.
