if you read another thread that says "Verizon 7250 Review [NEW PHOTOS!] [MUCH FASTER THAN 7750!]"

then you'll find out that it comes default with the 4.0 handheld software

so i'm kinda eating my own words on this one, but has anyone got their 7250 to install the password keeper? even though the device comes default with 4.0 handheld software, i'm already missing my password keeper from my 7750.. i took a look at the search in the forums, and noticed noone has it so far.. but who knows.. maybe someone's got it..

It's possible to copy the password keeper from another BlackBerry to a 7250.

You need the "javaloader.exe" command to copy the password keeper file to your PC from your old BlackBerry. Then you copy the password keeper file back to your new BlackBerry, and you've got it added.

There may be additional steps, but someone succeeded in doing this...

Thanks,

I did it by just going to the add application from the loader and browsing to the location that it was in from when I loaded my 7100 on my system. Then from a prior backup I restored just the password keeper database gave it a new password after install and I was up and using it.

thanx barjohn, i thought about doing this, but wasn't sure if it made any sort of compatibility difference as my 7750 os 4 apps were not 4.0.0.204.. last thing i need is my new 7250 crashing! but it worked! awesome, now i'm all set..
