Default 7250 Questions - 02-12-2005, 08:04 AM

I will hopefully be getting a 7250 shortly. Presently I have a 7750.
My question is what do I have to do to set it up? I am on a BES(v 3.7 I think). Will it just start to work after I sync it with my desktop? Or do I need to contact the BES administrator?

My other question is I have heard that the 4.0 version that VRZ put on the 7250 does not include the Password Keeper is that true?

Thanks

If you are already using the BES at work, it will be easy enough. Back up your old BB. Connect the new BB. Desktop Manager will ask if you want to switch PINs (switch BlackBerrys) - reply yes. Presto change-o Then resync, or run a selective restore (using the backup created earlier) to move back non PIM items (like custom autotexts or browser shortcuts or whatever).

I have also read that password keeper does not come installed. I don't think that VZW has published 4.0 yet, so you can either try the Telus version, or hang out a bit.

Good luck. The 7250 looks great.
