Default Sprint PCS Blackberry 7290??? - 03-27-2007, 01:11 AM

I had no idea this existed. Or does it? It's unlocked and I snagged it. But ya...it'd be good to know if this is for real.

Excuse my inability to make links. I'm a noobie here. :(

Sprint has a 7250(CDMA), but has never and can not have a 7290(GSM). Same casing, but different wireless technology.

So it is probably a 7250 and the guy assumed based on picures the guy thought it was a 7290? Also was it worth the price ($56 + $7sum S+H)???

That's pretty cheap. The CDMA Blackberries go for a little more usually. Especially the Sprint BB's. As long as the ESN is clear I'd say you got a good deal.

You can't really tell by looking at a head-on photo as the 72XX's are all very similar. The Nextel units have an antenna nub.

In the very blurry photo it looks like there's a Sprint logo on the device. If that's the case it's definitely a 7250 and not a 7290.
