Default 7230 on T-Mobile in uk on PAYG? - 03-30-2007, 08:19 PM

Hi everybody

This my 1st posting, I bought a Blackberry 7230 very cheaply. I wanted to access the internet with it, with a PAYG simcard, after looking on the T-Mobile website there was no mention of any Blackberry devices.

I rang T-Mobile to obtain the settings for T-Zones and Web n Walk, after a bit of being transferred from pillar to post, they told me that T-Zones wasnt available on PAYG, But I pointed out I've seen other PAYG T-Mobiles with T-Zones installed. I was told if I wanted T-Zones/ Web n Walk on my Blackberry I would have to get a contract.

I tried to get a contract last month but was declined.

Is it true that I cant get T-Zones with a Blackberry on PAYG? I actually have the settings, so I can input them manually, but Its not very obvious where to put them, as theres no mention of internet icon: or anything.

Also i'm confused about which desktop software to download, as i'm the only user and i'm not using a server or network?

Any ideas?

Phil

You need a Blackberry data plan. AFAIK no carrier offers them on prepaid.
