Default I'm trying to get data from an old 7290 to a new one - 04-01-2007, 11:10 PM

I have a 7290, and using Desktop Manager v3.6.3.11 I sync my data to Outlook 2002. The original berry died, so I got another 7290. I am having problems getting my data into the new BB. I am guessing that the PIN number has something to do with it.

Any suggestions on how to sync my old data to the new 7290?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Wirelessly posted (8700g: BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

The PIN has nothing to do with whether it should sync or not.Does DM state the new BB is connected? Try using the latest verson of Desktop Manager (at the blackberry.com website) and attempt your sync.

You can also do a restore of the data from an old backup if you have one.

you really should be using 4.0 or higher desktop manager. 4.2 is current. Such an old desktop manager may not work well with the 4.0 based devices.
