Exclamation Help: 12000+ Repeat Emails On My 7250! - 04-02-2007, 08:38 AM

I am hoping someone out there has an answer - or some advice...
I and my boss have 7250s, and we use BIS (verizon) to read our work emails (which are webmail originated - we do NOT have Exchange or BES - yet!).
This is the 2nd time in a few weeks this has happened - somehow, somewhere, our BB are stuck in some kind of hellish loop - where 3 weeks or so worth of OLD emails that we already read start coming in OVER AND OVER AGAIN - it's been going on ALL WEEKEND!
I now have 12,664 emails on my BB - all old, all already read!!!! and it's driving me and my boss nuts!
The emails are NOT being pushed through or re-received on my webmail - we only got 1 legitimate email all weekend - but they keep rolling in over and over again to BOTH of our BBs.
So, somewhere between BIS and Verizon, something has gone strangely wrong - DOES ANYONE KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS?
I am scheduled to install Exchange and BES in the next couple weeks, but it is now Monday and we need to get our emails in a timely manner...
PLEASE HELP - MY BOSS IS BREATHING FIRE OVER THIS!
12,685 AND COUNTING!!!

MMWinter, (1) try removing and resending the service books on both accounts, or (2) go to BOTH of your BIS accounts and simply delete them and set them up again. That MAY take care of it. (3) If not, call your service provider and ask them so reset your account... there was another thread this weekend where a user had a similar problem with repeated SMS messages (150+).

I hope that works to chill out your boss and solve your prob.
