Exclamation Welcome to the new 7200 series discussion! - 06-09-2007, 08:22 PM

Well, its a little delayed, but here is a forum dedicated to the 7200 series users, we know there is alot of you out there, and judging by the large amount of posts in General Discussion.. we know this section is important to those users.

I am new to the whole Blackberry experience, the 7290 being my first but it’s kind of like a dream come true, having a tool that can keep me informed and organized as I enter the business community it’s empowering. Now all I need is a Bluetooth toaster oven and coffee maker.

Default BB 7250 / Can I play wave files to it? - 09-17-2007, 04:55 PM

Me and my coworkers have Blackberry Units ( 7250 ) models.. We have a BES and our bes manages our Voicemail server. We have all of our emails forwarded to our BB's however after getting an email with a wav. file attachement we can't play the wav files on our bb's. Is there a feature or plug in we can use to play wav files on our Blackberry units?

Any help in the matter is appreciated.

Thank you.

I believe the 4.2 handheld OS is the one that supported .wav files as attachements, but I don't believe the 7250 has a 4.2 OS.

Hello everybody! I bought used Blackberry 7230, but I do have a problem with it.
The call functions are somehow disabled. If I press the “Call” button or the “Space” button or any of the numbers there is no change on the screen at all. Also, after pressing the “track wheel” on any number from “Address book” to see the menu there is no function “Call” inside that menu.
It seems to be a software general prohibiting of making or receiving a phone call. (The SMS function properly) I well highly appreciate any suggestions. Thank you in advance!

hey fellas.. I am trying to make some sort of guide for my users. I am hoping they will seek the guide before calling me, when their emails stop flowing in. Anyway, I'm looking for some better pictures of the 7290 home screen, or maybe bigger pictures of the icons on the home screen. Anybody have any ideas?

I have searched google images forever and found nothing..here is all i got..

anybody got anything for me!?

If your device is on BES and has an IT Policy, there could be a requirement to change the password at set intervals.

If it's not on a BES then it has leftover IT policy on it from previous BES. If that's the case you'll need to install a blank IT policy on the device in order to get rid of that.

If your device is still attached to a BES (like your work) then you can't get around the policy as it will be pushed back when you connect to the BES again.
