I just purchased a 7290 from e-bay. Only used for 4 months. I am starting to move around alot and needed something cheaper than a laptop.

I am wandering, how do I connect to the internet wirelessly on my phone?

Do you think I should contact Tesco, and see what needs to be done? I am guessing you need to be on contract. I am on pay as you go.

Tau, you need a BlackBerry Data Plan, must have, to connect to internet, get email, data, etc., on the BB. Your carrier must have a BB Data Plan. I am not familiar with Tesco. Normally, a pay as you go plan does not qualify for a BB Data Plan.

There is no wifi if that's what your after on the 7290 or legacy BB's for that matter. It will be a feature of some the newer forthcoming BB's. If you would like to collect mail and browse then simple add a BlackBerry Data Plan to you mobile account. You may want to do a bit of homework on the device your bought.
