Default Vmware 7290 Upgrade Firmware Linux host - 07-14-2007, 01:52 AM

During the update process of a blackberry 7290 firmware, the software on Windows reboots the blackberry device and attempts to connect to the boot loader. When the device turns off, it removes the USB module from VMWare, when the device boots up, it is not detected by VMWare until you unplug and plug the blackberry back in.

Is there a way to force VMWare to keep the USB module loaded at all times after it detects a USB device?

VMWare 6.0
Ubuntu Linux host
Windows XP guest

Thanks
