I am the firm's IT person. I just had an enduser bring me their 7250 complaining that it often hang's when they select shutdown from the main screen. It starts the shutdown and than hangs on the red check verizon screen. I am unable to recreate the issue with his blackberry or mine but my hunch is that it might happen while the unit it synching with the server.
Has anyone seen this or a similar issue? Thanks for any advice provided.

I guess this begs the question... why is the user shutting down the BlackBerry? ;)

Have you upgraded the device to the latest software version for it?

And my comment would, pull the battery while powered on, and let it reboot.

See if the problem persists.
